2020 Agricultural Machinery Quality Survey Work Analysis Meeting Held in Inner Mongolia

Entrusted by the Department of Agricultural Mechanization Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on October 12, the Agricultural Machinery Test and Appraisal General Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Agricultural Mechanization Technology Development and Extension Station of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (hereinafter referred to as the terminus) held the 2020 Agricultural Machinery Quality Survey in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Work analysis meeting. Yao Chunsheng, deputy head of the main station, Zhao Yonghua, deputy director of the Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and other leaders attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

In 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will conduct quality surveys on corn no-tillage planters in four northeastern provinces, including Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang. Up to now, the investigation has been successfully concluded. At the meeting, Wang Guozhan, a first-level investigator from the Department of Agricultural Mechanization of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, participated in the meeting in the form of a video link. At the same time, he affirmed the investigation work and put forward specific requirements for the quality investigation work and report writing time. Yao Chunsheng pointed out that the quality survey of agricultural machinery is an important responsibility assigned to the agricultural machinery management department by the Agricultural Mechanization Promotion Law. Over the years, he has accumulated a certain amount of work experience through the investigation and practice of ministries and provinces. At present, in order to better assist the transformation and upgrading of agricultural mechanization, it is recommended to discuss the development of work from the following aspects. The first is to explore the way of cooperation between ministries and provinces to increase the sample size of surveys and increase influence; the second is to leverage the synergy of the system and use information technology to improve work efficiency; the third is to strengthen the application of survey results to form a quality survey brand. Through summary, analysis and improvement, promote the normalization of quality investigation work, and maximize the role of quality investigation work in the quality supervision of agricultural machinery.

The representatives of the four eastern provinces and regions respectively summarized and exchanged the quality survey of corn no-tillage planters in their provinces and regions in 2020; they analyzed the safety, reliability, adaptability, and after-sales service issues reported by users during the survey process . Participants at the meeting analyzed the causes of the quality problems found in terms of product design, assembly, operation, and use, and reached consensus on the framework and main content of the quality survey report.
