African Friends Have a Strong Desire for Agricultural Mechanization

In early March, the "China Agricultural Machinery Enters Africa" cloud exhibition at a national level professional agricultural machinery exhibition attracted over 100 government officials, industry associations, and distributor representatives from more than 20 African countries, including Kenya, Egypt, and Morocco, to go online or visit in person. Many companies and African partners have made on-site arrangements to attend the Morocco International Agricultural Exhibition and the Cairo Sahara International Agricultural Expo in Egypt in the second half of the year.

Half a year ago, at the Beijing summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, China and 53 African countries jointly released the Beijing Action Plan (2025-2027), and announced that within three years from 2025, China and Africa will carry out the "Ten Partnership Actions for Promoting Modernization Together", of which the "Partnership Action for Promoting Agriculture and Benefiting People" is precisely a concern for the advancement of African agricultural modernization. The action plan also includes "strengthening support for agricultural mechanization in Africa and improving agricultural production efficiency in African countries" as a major focus.
