Development for High-Quality Forage Harvesting And Processing

Recently, the kickoff meeting and implementation plan demonstration meeting for the "14th Five Year Plan" National Key R&D Program "Research and Application of Key Equipment for High Quality Forage Harvesting and Processing" project, led by the Hohhot Branch of China Agricultural Machinery Academy, was held in Hohhot.

The holding of this conference marks the official implementation stage of the "Research and Application of Key Equipment for High Quality Forage Harvesting and Processing" project. The project will break through the bottleneck of domestic production with intelligence, lead industrial upgrading with green technology, and strive to transform research and development achievements into "real gold and silver" in the hands of farmers and herdsmen, supporting the independent and controllable development of animal husbandry industry.

The project will be jointly carried out with China Agricultural University, Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Heilongjiang Agricultural Machinery Institute, etc., focusing on the common technologies, core devices, high-quality cutting and modulation of grass and bean advantage forage, large-scale intelligent self-propelled green forage harvesting, high-density and generous bundling and film wrapping integration, and the creation and application of intelligent equipment. In response to the upgrading and development needs of harvesting and processing machinery for hay and green feed in China, key technologies such as large-scale feeding and wide width harvesting, stem homogenization and flattening modulation, high humidity and high-density ensiling, and intelligent integrated control will be broken through; Develop core components such as double knot knotters, flattening rollers, crushing rollers, and cutting knives to achieve import substitution; Creating high-quality self-propelled cutting and modulation of superior forage grass for HeDou, large-scale intelligent self-propelled green feed harvesting, high-density and generous bundling of silage wrapped with film and coating, and microbial spraying and other suitable and practical high-end intelligent equipment, realizing technological iteration and upgrading, filling the industry's shortcomings, and transforming towards the world's advanced level, supporting the independent and controllable development of animal husbandry industry.
