Lovol Launch National Smart Agriculture Machinery Project

The "14th Five Year Plan" National Key R&D Program "Intelligent Equipment Creation and Intelligent System Integration Application for Large Area Yield Improvement of Grain and Oil Crops" led by Weichai Lovol Smart Agriculture Machinery has been launched in Weifang. This project collaborates with top institutions such as Jilin University, China Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences Group Co., Ltd., and Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to jointly build a "technology matrix" for improving grain and oil yield.

The project closely revolves around the theme of "increasing grain yield per unit area", guided by the coordinated development of "good fields, good seeds, good opportunities, and good methods". Through the integration and innovation of intelligent agricultural machinery and agronomy, solutions for increasing yield per unit area that are suitable for different production scenarios are polished, breaking the bottleneck of increasing grain and oil crop yield per unit area in China and providing solid technical support and practical paths for stabilizing the "Chinese rice bowl".

As the "national team" of smart agriculture, Weichai Lovol has undertaken a total of 15 national key research and development projects during the 14th Five Year Plan period, embedding the national food security strategy into the innovation genes of smart agriculture machinery and building a solid foundation for modern agricultural development with technological hard power.
