The Rice Harvester is in Full Swing, Playing the "Harvest Song" of the Golden Autumn

In the golden September, rice is fragrant. The vast fields are covered in golden colors, and the heavy rice ears sway with layers of waves in the gentle breeze. In recent days, the town has seized the opportunity of clear weather and fully launched mechanized rice harvesting operations. One combine harvester after another shuttles back and forth in the fields, outlining a pleasant autumn harvest scene.

In the contiguous rice fields, two large combine harvesters are galloping back and forth at full power. Accompanied by the roar of the machine, rows of golden rice stalks are neatly rolled into the harvester for harvesting, threshing, straw crushing and returning to the field, and rice loading - the entire process is completed in one go. The agricultural machinery operator skillfully operated the steering wheel, leaving only neat rows of rice stubble and crushed straw evenly scattered in the field where the harvester passed. In less than half an hour, a rice field covering several acres was harvested, and plump rice grains gushed out from the unloading bin and loaded into the grain trucks waiting at the edge of the field.

"This year, more than 180 acres of rice were planted in Fenghua, with a yield of about 1000 kilograms per acre. From transplanting to harvesting, all operations were mechanized. In previous years, manual harvesting of one acre of land required several people to work for half a day, but now the harvester can harvest one acre of land in just over ten minutes, saving time, effort, and money. "Qiu Longzhong, the on-site person in charge who is commanding the loading of trucks by the field, told reporters that this year's rice growth is good, the grains are full, and it is another bumper harvest year.

The agricultural machinery operator has just completed the harvesting operation of a field. Taking advantage of the gap between unloading grain, he told the reporter, "Since early August, several combine harvesters in our cooperative have not stopped running back and forth in different villages every day. One harvester can harvest more than 40 acres a day, and the efficiency is also very high. Now it is an integrated operation of 'rice harvesting, straw crushing, and scattering'. The rice is harvested cleanly, and the straw is directly crushed and returned to the field. Villagers no longer have to worry about straw treatment, and the soil fertility can be improved. With this progress, the remaining rice can be harvested in the next few days."

In recent years, the continuous promotion of fully mechanized rice operations has gradually established a modern agricultural production system, from mechanized seedling cultivation and transplanting to unmanned aerial vehicle plant protection and mechanized harvesting. Mechanized harvesting not only significantly improves operational efficiency, but also significantly reduces harvesting loss rates, ensuring the return of rice grains to the warehouse.

In the rice fields, the harvester still roars back and forth; On the field embankment, vehicles loaded with rice are heading towards the drying and processing plant. The golden fields and busy figures complement each other, playing the most beautiful "harvest song" of rural revitalization.
